Telephone advice lines The Department has a number of dedicated telephone lines that can assist you to get the information you need. Explore the advice lines available to you below. The Department's COVID-19 hotline You can ask questions about COVID-19 and schools by calling 1800 338 663, 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Maternal and Child Health LineGuidance from MCH nurses on nutrition, breastfeeding and family health for children from birth to school age. Parentline Phone counselling service for parents and carers of children and teens. TAFE and Training LineGet referrals to courses from TAFEs, training providers and Learn Locals.
