Members of the Victorian Student Representative Council (VicSRC) have sent a massive thank you to teachers following a school year like no other.
The comments reflect the incredible contribution teachers have made to support student learning this year.
In their comments, VicSRC's Student Editorial Team managers Daria and Connor paid tribute to their teachers — and teachers everywhere — for their outstanding support during a rollercoaster year.
'All of us students would like to collectively say a massive thank you for everything you have done for us in 2020,' the Year 10 students said.
'This year has been a huge rollercoaster, yet you powered through and offered much support to us regardless of the many obstacles we all faced.
'You worked hard to keep us engaged and motivated, even though there were often times as students that the last thing we wanted was another day in front of the screen.'
Daria and Connor said students greatly appreciated teachers' efforts to adapt to remote and flexible learning.
'It was definitely a relief to finally get back in the classroom, once again,' they said.
'Thank you for your hard work during this crazy year.'
