Professional Learning Program for current and aspiring Applied Learning Teachers

​Applications for the fully funded program, to help improve delivery of applied learning programs, close 2 August

Applications are closing soon for the Professional Learning Program, for current Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) teachers and aspiring applied learning teachers.

Teachers have until Monday 2 August to apply for the program, which supports 480 teachers to undertake five to six days of professional development to help them improve applied learning programs for students.

All teachers at Victorian government secondary schools are eligible to apply for the program.

About the program

Cambridge Education delivers this fully funded program through a combination of online and face-to-face activities.

Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to participate in: 

  • personalised coaching and mentoring support from experienced VCAL teachers
  • weekly learning activities
  • networking events with like-minded professionals from across Victoria.

The program supports the delivery of high-quality applied learning and recommendations made in the Review into Vocational and Applied Learning Pathways in Senior Secondary Schooling.

Up to two days of casual relief teacher funding is available to support teachers to undertake the program. 

How to apply

Applications for the first intake of Term 3 are now open, closing on Monday 2 August.

The applications are an expression of interest to participate.
