Apply to be on the 2023 VCE exam development panel

Expand your skillset and build state-wide experience in assessment

Is assessment an area you enjoy and want more experience in? If so, the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) is seeking applications for selected Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) and VCE Vocational Education and Training examination development panel roles.

Being on an exam development panel is a chance to join other educators who write and review exams, marking guidelines and other supporting documents.

The roles are a paid opportunity to be involved in the fair, valid and reliable assessment of Victorian students.

By participating in the panel, you will:

  • gain valuable professional learning about curriculum and assessment
  • enhance your skills in teaching and assessment
  • build valuable state-wide experience in assessment, beyond your own school or setting.

How to apply

Applications are invited through the Sessional Staff Management System by Sunday 4 December 2022. Please note that positions may be filled prior to this date if suitable applicants are found.

Please also note that applicants must have the appropriate experience and qualifications and not be teaching VCE units 3 and 4.
