Be one of the first to see inside the newest Minecraft world and find out how to take part in the latest mission
Teachers and students are invited to attend a live online launch of the latest Minecraft: Education Edition (Minecraft:EE) mission, Station Ideation.
Minecraft:EE is a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem solving in an immersive digital environment. This latest challenge aligns to the design and technologies curriculum.
The Minecraft World includes a Melbourne icon that won't be revealed to the public until 2025. The live launch event will feature 360-degree views of the new world, a Minecraft expert talking through the new challenge, and a chance to win Minecraft prizes.
The challenge is open to students from Grade 5 to Year 8 and can be done in school or online at any time during terms 1 and 2, 2022. It involves developing creative ways to meet the needs of commuters in 2025 and beyond.
If you've always wanted to explore how to incorporate Minecraft in the classroom but weren't sure where to start, this event is for you. No Minecraft experience is needed.
Station Ideation is a Minecraft collaboration between the department and the Metro Tunnel Project.
