Educational episodes are linked with learning activities to help teachers deliver lessons remotely
Primary school teachers now have access to new learning resources to support remote and flexible learning thanks to a partnership between the Victorian Government and the ABC.
The Department has created a collection of learning activities linked to a range of children's educational programs being screened each weekday on ABC ME. These resources are available now on the
Learning from Home page on the FUSE website.
A new collection of resources will be published each week for the following week's programs.
The resources include activities for English, Mathematics, Science, Geography and History. All are aligned with the Victorian Curriculum F-10 and are designed to be modified and adapted to suit your students and teaching plans.
Each resource includes links to the relevant online ABC episode, a student worksheet of learning activities and teacher notes. Examples of topics covered to date include:
- activities and games to build early literacy for Foundation and Level 1
- learning about the lives of children living in different countries around the world, for Levels F-2
- geometry activities connected to cubes, domes and wedges for Levels 3-4
- an introduction to astronomy for Levels 5-6.
Students can watch the programs on TV on
ABC ME or online on
