The leadership opportunities from the Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership outlined below support teachers to plan a path towards principalship through targeted and formative feedback.
Victorian Aspiring Principal Assessment: Term 2 Information Sessions
Registrations are now open for Term 2 Victorian Aspiring Principal Assessment (VAPA) information sessions.
The sessions are designed to help principals and aspiring principals better understand the assessment and how it supports principal preparation.
The one-hour online sessions cover the VAPA process, how it assesses readiness for principalship and the staged implementation of the VAPA as a requirement for first-time principal appointments.

Date: Wednesday 2 June, Wednesday 9 June and Wednesday 22 June (only need to attend one session)
Time: 4 – 5pm

Unlocking Potential: Principal Preparation applications
Applications are now open for the Unlocking Potential: Principal Preparation program.
The six to nine-month program is designed to develop aspiring principals' leadership philosophy, education vision and understanding of what it takes to lead a school where everyone can realise their potential.
